The Sunshine Coast looks like a dog’s paradise on paper: off-leash beaches at Currimundi, Wurtulla, Buddina and Stumers Creek, fenced parks at Brightwater, Buderim and Little Mountain, and the Glass House Mountains as a backdrop. The catch is that they are busy. On a sunny weekend the dog beaches are teeming, and for a reactive or anxious dog that constant stimulation is the problem, not the cure.

Most of our Sunshine Coast dog training happens as a residential Stay & Train. Your dog boards on our 160-acre farm and follows a structured daily routine of reward-based training: assessment, a settling-in period, then daily sessions covering obedience training, recall, impulse control and loose lead walking, finished with a handover so you can hold the results at home.
Is the country farm worth the drive from the coast?
For the right dog, absolutely. Stepping away from beach crowds, dog parks and apartment living is often the missing ingredient. A dog board and train on quiet acreage gives an overstimulated or reactive coast dog the space to reset that no busy class can match. We also handle pick-up and drop-off.
Is board and train good for anxious or reactive coast dogs?
