Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by The Mutts Nuts, including boarding, rehabilitation, training, and associated care. By booking your dog’s stay or service, you agree to the following:

1. Abandonment
In the unlikely event a dog is left in our care beyond the agreed collection date and all reasonable attempts to contact the owner have failed, The Mutts Nuts reserves the right to transfer the animal to an approved rescue organisation. Such circumstances will be treated as abandonment, and a $1,000 abandonment fee will apply to cover care, transport, and administrative costs.

2. Health, Safety & Liability
While all reasonable care is taken to ensure every dog’s safety and wellbeing, The Mutts Nuts operates on a working rural property with natural hazards such as uneven ground, dams, wildlife, and livestock. By booking with us, owners acknowledge these inherent risks and agree that The Mutts Nuts, its owners, and staff shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, loss, escape, or death of a pet while in our care, provided all reasonable care and supervision have been exercised. Veterinary treatment will be sought immediately if required, and all associated costs remain the responsibility of the owner.

3. Vaccinations & Health
All dogs must have current C5 (or equivalent) vaccinations, be up to date with tick, flea, and worm prevention, and be in good general health at check-in. Dogs showing signs of contagious illness may be refused entry.

4. Behaviour
Owners must disclose any behavioural issues, including aggression, anxiety, or reactivity. The Mutts Nuts reserves the right to modify or refuse services if a dog’s behaviour poses a risk to itself or others.

5. Payment & Cancellations
A non-refundable deposit may be required to confirm a booking. Balance is payable at check-in unless otherwise agreed. Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival may forfeit the deposit or incur fees during peak periods.

6. Veterinary Care
If a dog becomes unwell or injured while in our care, The Mutts Nuts will seek veterinary attention at the owner’s cost. Every effort will be made to contact the owner before treatment, except in emergencies where immediate care is necessary.

7. Media Use
The Mutts Nuts may take photographs or videos of dogs during their stay for updates and promotional use. Owners who prefer their dogs not to appear in media must advise in writing before check-in.
